Anton Günther Sing-Along for the 150th Birthday

Sing-along of Anton Günther's songs to mark his 150th birthday at the Berggasthof Neues Haus in Oberwiesenthal, performed with the local group „Is Barggeschrei“. Lunch from 12:30 in the restaurant; the sing-along starts at 14:30. Admission 6.50 € per person — complimentary with a restaurant order of 15 € or more. Reservations: Hotel@Berggasthof-Neues-Haus.de or +49 37348 2390. — In his lifetime Anton Günther often crossed the Saxon–Bohemian border from his home in Gottesgab/Boží Dar, only some four kilometres away, to sing his songs at the Neues Haus to the lute and guitar. The event thus revives one of the historically documented venues of the Ore Mountains folk poet.
