Annaberg-Buchholz town library opened its 2026/27 senior college with a lecture for Anton Günther’s 150th birthday in the Friedrichsaal of the Erzhammer cultural centre. Under the title “Dialect Is Home”, Dr Andreas Eichler (Mironde publishing house) spoke about dialect, the settlement of the Ore Mountains and the life of the folk poet from Gottesgab.
